This photo was taken in 2005. Following SGT Kearney's death in 2004, we renamed the compound "Kearney Base." This sign currently resides at the National Guard armory in Shenandoah, Iowa.
Back in 2004...never did I envision seeing this. The Sharana Air Passenger Terminal!?!?
