Happy Birthday...Afghanistan style

At the end of our morning briefing to our Brigade Operations Officer the other morning, they presented our Operations Sergeant Major (Sergeant Major Strasser, a farmer from Southern Iowa) his birthday "cake." Only in Afghanistan would you see someone receive a live hand grenade "cake" with a cigarette for a "candle."
