111th Congress

Just wanted to say "thanks" to the 111th Congress for their support of an Army at War. I just received word of your generous 1.4% pay raise for 2011 (2009 = 3.9% increase, 2010 = 3.4% increase), the smallest pay raise for the military since 1962. This news arrives on the heels of the 1% reduction (first time ever) in my 2011 housing allowance, which I am still waiting to see if I will be grandfathered in under or not. I guess you don't have much left to lose when your approval rating is less than 1 in 5.
